FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2012!!!

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY IS ALMOST HERE!!!!

That's right, it's almost May! That means Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is just around the corner and 2012 is going to be bigger than ever! This year we have several new sponsors joining the team including Harkins Theatres and Pluckers of Grapevine!

New to FCBD you say? No worries! Here is just a little information to help you get familiar with our national holiday...

- Everyone gets to choose a FREE comic book from an assortment of FCBD comics! Show us your library card and get an additional FREE comic book.

- Charity Raffle for Operation Kindness: Sponsors such as Harkins Theatres, Pluckers, Retro 51, British Emporium and several others have donated awesome items to go into the charity raffle. We sell tickets throughout the day to raise money for Operation Kindness (a NO-KILL animal shelter here in DFW.) All the money earned from the raffle will be donated along with several additional donations made by OnlineScrap.com and Area 51.

- Free Donuts from 10:00am - 12:00pm (while supplies last)

- Free British Candy (from British Emporium)

- Other events TBD

Here is the schedule of events for Saturday, May 5th is as follows:

10:00am - OPEN, Charity Raffle Begins
10am-12:00pm - Free Donuts
2:00pm - Sponsor Announcements, Free Cake
4:00pm - Charity Raffle drawings
6:00pm - End of FCBD
10:00pm - Store Closes

Expect some awesome deals on items from your favorite games. Demos of board games and miniature games that have recently released along with the normal open gaming space to relax and get a quick game in of whatever you choose.
